Filtering levels
User filter
Contains lists of expressly prohibited or permitted sites which are maintained by the network administrator. If the navigated site is not on one of the lists, the process moves to the next filter.
Common filter
Is based on a database of web addresses which are supplied and updated by the manufacturer. Visit to a website that falls within the illegal category will be impossible, or the site will be entered into the record.
Heuristic filter
Conducts an analysis of the web address and its content which was released by the earlier filters. Subsequently, the page is included into one of the categories or it sent to the user for viewing. From each conducted analysis, the program also better learns to identify unwanted categories.
Timeline filter
Sets the daily and weekly schedule of activation or deactivation of all previous filters.
